WEIRD NEWS: Wildfire... Dilly Dilly
More than 600 wildfires are burning in California, but they're no match for Chad Little's beer stash.
The Vacaville resident decided to send his family out of town as the LNU Lightning Complex Fires moved toward their house, but he chose to stay back and keep the house from burning down. He set up continuously running hoses all over the property to keep the flames away, but when the fire department shut off the water, he reached for the next best thing -- his Bud Light.
As flames got close to his house, Little poked holes in the cans and sprayed beer to put them out. He tells theVacaville Reporter, "That was the only thing I had that I had a lot of, and it was wet. Luckily, I had a bunch of cases of Bud Light and I was able to get it out." Eventually a fire truck arrived and helped save his house. He did, unfortunately, lose his carport to the fire.
