KELSEA BALLERINI, SHANIA TWAIN: New Collaboration

Kelsea Ballerini has released anew version of her current single, "hole in the bottle," but this one features one of the singer's biggest influences, Shania Twain.

Kelsea says, “She's inspired me in every way and has become a mentor and friend and added some major sass and spice to 'hole in the bottle' the way only Shania could.” Shania adds, "I love ‘hole in the bottle,’ it really speaks to my own sense of humor and it was so cool to get to do it with a friend.”

MORGAN WALLEN: Double Album in 2021

Morgan Wallen has announced that his next release will be a 30-song double album. 

Dangerous: The Double Albumwill drop on January 8th and will include both of his current singles - "More Than My Hometown" and "7 Summers." It also features collaborations with Chris Stapleton and Ben Burgess  and tracks penned by hit songwriters like Thomas RhettEric ChurchHardyJosh Thompson and Shane McAnally.

Morgan says, "The 'double album' idea started off as just a joke between me and my manager because we had accumulated so many songs over the past couple of years. Then quarantine hit, and we realized it might actually be possible to have enough time to make it happen." 

A deluxe version with two additional tracks will be available at Target. Presales start November 20th when Morgan also releases three more songs from the project.

CMA AWARDS: Maren Morris Wins Big

Maren Morris was the big winner at Wednesday' night's CMA Awards, which was broadcast live from Nashville. She took home the trophies Song and Single of the Yearf or “The Bones” and the coveted Female Vocalist of the Year.

Luke Combs earned two CMA trophies –Male Vocalist and Album of the Year, while Eric Churchw as the surprise winner of this year's Entertainer of the Year.

Hosted by Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker, the show featured memorial performances fo rCharlie Daniels, Joe Diffie and Mac Davis, as well as a musical celebration of Urban Cowboy,which turned 40 this year.

Several acts were forced to drop out of the show after testing positive for or being exposed to COVID-19, including Lee BriceLady A, Florida Georgia LineRascal Flatts and Musician of the Year winner Jenee Fleanor
