This week we have FIVE wet noses. Meet Frankie, Banshee, Roswell, Countess and Wolfie! There are four girls and one boy, Wolfie. These pretty red speckled pups are four months old, and weigh 15 - 20 pounds. They are pretty calm puppies.... for puppies, that is. They do love to run around and sometimes wrestle and fight with one another, but they also enjoy a nap in the warm sunshine or on a blanket. They are long leggedy, ear flappity goodness, all around, and are looking for homes of their own. Frankie and Countess are staying at the Best Friends Pet Resource Center at present, so you can drop in and visit them. The others are in foster homes. We can arrange a meet & greet with any of them, all you have to do is reach out to us at adoptnwa@bestfriends.org.
What's going on at the Best Friends Pet Resource Center?
This Friday, October 20, our lifesaving center will be closed for staff training. But to make up for it, we will be open until 6 pm on Shelter Saturday, October 21.
This coming Sunday we have a family volunteer workshop from 1 to 2:30 pm at the center. Bring your family and help us build outdoor shelters for community cats! These will be donated to the Community Cat Support Network to keep outdoor cats warm through the winter. You can register for the workshop on line at bfas.org/nwacalendar .
